MEET THE DOCTOR
Dr. Brandon Semma
Doctor of Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Semma has been practicing in Canton since 2016. He began his career under Dr. Warren Steven Watson, who led the practice for over 30 years before Dr. Semma took over. He is married to his wife, Carmen, and together they have three young boys: Christian, Anthony, and Luca.
Dr. Semma is board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery and the American Board of Podiatric Medicine. He is also wound care certified by the Council for Medical Education and Testing.
Born and raised in the Metro Detroit area, Dr. Semma earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University and went on to receive his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine degree from the Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine.
From 2013 to 2016, he completed his comprehensive postgraduate residency training at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. Dr. Semma is well-trained in both conservative and surgical care of the foot and ankle.
As a Podiatrist, I am passionate about working in a field that needs so much more medical education. Today’s society is very fast-paced. My goal is to get patients into our office as soon as possible and heal them in a timely manner so they can return to their normal everyday activities.
I got into podiatry because of the art involved and the complexity of the foot and ankle. I am an active runner and ran track in high school. My objective is to treat runners, walkers, and all patients for their painful foot and ankle conditions. My areas of special interest include minimally invasive surgery, geriatric and diabetic foot care, heel pain, and sports injuries.
